Richmond Local Guide: Updated for 2025
The city slicker of the Waterman locations, our Richmond workspace is every bit as cool as the suburb it sits in. With heritage buildings lining the streets, trendy shops, pubs and cafes on every corner, Richmond is an ideal place for both work and relaxation.
Our members love the Richmond Workspace because of it’s close proximity to the CBD, and it’s killer coffee culture.
Parking
Our Richmond Office has parking available through Salta for $240/month excl. GST. There are also parking permits available for Acacia Place which is a one-minute walk from the workspace for $165 per month (with a $55 set-up fee). $12.00 parking passes for Victoria Gardens Shopping Centre, a two-minute walk away, are also available for Waterman members.
Public Transport
Conveniently, the Burnley St/Victoria St and River Bvd/Victoria St tram stops are right out the front of our Richmond office, with North Richmond train station just a short 12-minute tram ride away. Several bus stops (Cromwell St – Victoria Pde/Hoddle St) are also a short tram ride away.
Caffeine Fix
If there’s something Richmondites know, it’s coffee. With nearly as many roasteries as there are pubs in Richmond, it’s hard to find a bad one in this locale! Our tip, try them all and see which one you like best!

Frankie Says “relax”, and there’s no reason not to here! Get comfortable in the morning sun, streaming through the native trees and walk back to work along the bank of the Yarra.
